Abstract

Substantial factor of professional maturity of future specialist. On the basis of theoretical analysis of the problem of the formation of personal maturity of the future specialist, as the most important factor in the formation of professional maturity of social educator, the most important conditions of the process at the stage of learning in higher education have been identified. Personality traits have been defined, a model for the graduate - future social teacher has been suggested. Professional maturity of a person – is an integrative system that reflects content-marked unity of personal, academic and social qualities which provide students, graduates with successful self-realization in professional activity, socialization and harmonization with environment. It is a concluding stage of person's integral development while being trained in higher educational institution. The conception of becoming a personality of professional maturity allows: to project the theoretical model of development of professional maturity in accordance with the principles of integrity, system, purposefulness, openness, differentiation and integration; to orient a purpose, essence and maintenance of every component, on development of qualities which determine the essence of professional maturity of personality: orientation of personality, motivation of social-pedagogical activity, valued orientations of future specialist; educational competence, cognitive necessity, professional preparedness, social setting, social activity, social position. The basic essential functional characteristics of professional activity are: person's integrative quality, system-forming core of which is personal, academic and social maturity, integrative value that allows stable motivational-value professional orientation and social readiness to multi-aspect activity, integral index of personal, academic and social readiness to professional activity on higher levels. Professional maturity of a person is revealed in actions and peculiarities of an individual's behavior. The criteria of the level of personality's maturity of future social teachers in the modern institute of higher education are: professional self-determination and authentication; social-ethics self-determination and moral self-regulation; responsible operation and self-regulation of the behavior; social communication; existential personalisation of man.
