Formation of legal awareness and legal culture of the citizens in the new conditions of the construction of the rule of law

The most important condition for the formation of a civilized state should be both the formation of a democratic social and cultural environment in society and the formation of a highly moral legal consciousness of citizens, taking into account the excesses that took place during the transitional periods during the creation of the USSR, during the restructuring period and the creation of independent states. The study of views on the concept of legal awareness in historical retrospect suggests the need for enhanced measures aimed at preserving legal awareness and raising the level of legal culture of citizens, with the involvement of scientists through the higher education system, with the mandatory development of civil society.
