Abstract
Noam Chomsky represents in his books a set of sentences to deduce his linguistic ideas in his English language. Since his linguistic works found great attention from Arab linguists, most of them has been translated into Arabic. Some Arab translators agreed and others disagreed with the way they dealt with them during the translation of the text. Some transferred them as they are in the original source without translating them, whereas there are others who transferred them as they are within Arabic. A third option for some translators was to translate them literally into Arabic by giving similar examples. This was revealed by studying three linguistic works of Chomsky translated into Arabic.
