Abstract
Given the diversity of our world, medical interpreting, in which participants do not share the same language, is becoming more common. However, when it comes to intercultural aspects in medical care, problems and deficits are usually in the foreground. This paper has used a descriptive and analytical approach to find the most stringent challenges facing medical interpreters in healthcare settings. The study aims to determine the problems and triggers the most useful strategies to cope with them.
