Threats to economic security in the field of economic activity

The article discusses the concept and constituent elements of economic security in the field of economic activity. Based on the multiplicity of threats in the activities of business entities, their classification according to various characteristics is given, including as follows: by source and probability of occurrence, by the magnitude of the consequences of the damage caused, the stage and directions of economic activity. The characteristics of various types of threats are given, which makes it possible to understand their content, to reveal the causes of their origin, to assess the intensity that contributes to the creation of an effective system of countering them. The necessity of early recognition of economic security destabilization factors, identification of threats, development and implementation of measures to overcome them is substantiated. Taking into account the fact that preventing the threats and reducing their consequences is the basis of state security, measures for increasing the level of economic security of the Donetsk People’s Republic are suggested.
