Abstract

The article is devoted to the study of medical information systems in outpatient departments. An overview of the current state and pace of implementation of medical information systems in Ukraine was conducted, highlighting their key features, functional capabilities and limitations. In addition, an analysis of available analogues on the market was carried out, comparing their functionality, ease of use, compatibility, safety and cost, with a special emphasis on their suitability for the outpatient department. The main problems common in outpatient departments are ineffective management of patient data, gaps in communication between medical professionals, lack of integration with existing systems, as well as the high cost and complexity of implementing information systems. To solve these problems, a solution has been developed — a convenient and affordable module, with a comprehensive description of functions, the possibility of integration with existing systems, scaling, cost-effective, with a convenient interface and customization options. In addition, the article discusses implementation aspects related to the module, including infrastructure requirements, interoperability, data security and privacy measures, training and support for healthcare professionals, and a change management strategy.
