THE ROLE OF THE GREEN ECONOMY IN THE CONDITIONS OF IMPLEMENTING THE STRATEGY OF SUSTAINABLE DEVELOPMENT

The global economy is moving along an unstable path. After the industrial revolution, the world economy grew at the expense of the environment and the large volumes of non-renewable natural resources use. The green trend, which is implemented by European and other developed countries, influenced the green economy development, which requires the application of the state policy processes and support procedures. The historical aspect of the green economy term implementation has been presented, its essence and the opinion of foreign scientists regarding this type of economy is demonstrated has been revealed. The study presented the green economy concept, which embodies the interrelationship of the economy and ecology in terms of the sustainability of sustainable development and their changes level Along with the presented green economy meaning, the essence and role of the dematerialization of the economy has been revealed, which embodies the reduction of harmful emissions while product production. The share of the green economy development in the world's economic sectors in various directions has been analyzed. The global development of the green economy by «green sectors» analyses, which is represented at the level of 39% of energy management and efficiency, has been conducted. It is determined that, the green economy in «green sectors» is growing steadily and thereby demonstrates the green economy development and growth in the global space and in the functioning of green value chains. It has been determined that green economy offers the new approach to environmental problems, related to air water and soil pollution, biodiversity loss, global warming and other problems solvation. This is achieved through the innovative technologies implementation, energy efficiency increase, transition to renewable energy sources and of environmentally friendly industrial processes development.
