Abstract

The article reveals the problems that impede the introduction of innovations in enterprises in modern conditions. It has been found that deteriorating business conditions create powerful incentives for innovation. It has been determined that the main goal of introducing innovations in an enterprise is to achieve strategic business goals. It has been established that the introduction of business innovations contributes to: increasing net profit; increasing return on investment; increase in earnings on shares; reducing costs for a portfolio of products or services; expanding the possibility of customer loyalty; guaranteeing the receipt of investments; improving the image of the manufacturer of a new product or service; opening or securing new markets at home and abroad. It was found that the unfavorable investment environment and low investment attractiveness make it impossible to obtain sufficient investment funds for the development of enterprises, as well as the introduction of innovative technologies and re-equipment of production technologies. It has been established that in order to improve the innovative activities of an enterprise and improve the quality of implementation of innovative projects, it is necessary to introduce a number of measures. Factors that hinder the innovative activity of an enterprise are identified. The basic principles of overcoming obstacles in the implementation of innovative projects are highlighted, in particular, the principle of planning, the principle of strategic innovation direction, the principle of determination, the principle of complexity and the principle of efficiency. It has been established that an important component of the effectiveness of the strategy when enhancing innovation activity is the stimulation of innovation processes. In the future, it is proposed to resolve the issue of highlighting the main aspects of the implementation of innovations in an enterprise. All this must be taken into account in further research, which is advisable to carry out in the direction of improving the system and tools for diagnosing innovation activity and enterprise development in modern conditions, in conditions of risk and uncertainty.
