Abstract

The purpose of the article is to explore the features of the formation of an enterprise development strategy. It has been established that the enterprise development strategy is a fundamental part of creating and running a business. It has been established that enterprise development strategies can be divided into two groups: active strategies and passive strategies. It is determined that when developing a strategy, firstly, one should get an accurate idea of the future development of the enterprise, and secondly, make sure that the enterprise actively uses modern management methods to ensure a certain balance and perspective direction of development. It has been established that development strategies require significant capital investments and the leaders of domestic enterprises are faced with the problem of a discrepancy between the goals, the managed status and the desire reflected in the current status. It has been established that the development strategy of an enterprise is a longterm, flexible plan of action to harmonize with the appropriate level of innovation, based on a detailed analysis of the internal and external environment of the enterprise, which depends on the human factor and requires investment for its development. It is determined that the complexity of the formation of an enterprise development strategy lies in the fact that, among various theoretical and methodological approaches, this process is considered at a certain point, namely, when forming a strategy: official process; analysis process; forecasting process; thinking process; developing process; collective process; reaction process; transformation process. It has been established that the enterprise development strategy should be based on the principle of hierarchy. It has been established that the enterprise development strategy involves the formation of long-term main goals and objectives, as well as a clear definition of the approach and competent allocation of resources necessary to achieve the goals. It has been established that the development of an enterprise development strategy with the use of management tools for its implementation is a complex and limitless process of the activity of a modern manager.
