TYPES OF STRATEGIES AND TOOLS FOR FORMING AN ENTERPRISE DEVELOPMENT STRATEGY

Abstract

The article reveals the features of enterprise development strategies and the tools for their formation. It has been determined that an enterprise development strategy is a fundamental part of creating and running a business, as well as an enterprise business plan, which includes both long-term and short-term goals of the enterprise, is based on its competitive advantages, contains a list of specific tasks and requires their implementation to achieve them. It was revealed that when forming a development strategy, one should pay attention to risks, since the main factors of negative impact are: inadequate external conditions for development; decreased business efficiency; loss of risk control; the possibility of loss due to deterioration in asset quality; overinvestment. It has been established that the enterprise development strategy can be characterized as a long-term and flexible action plan for innovation with an appropriate level of risk, depending on the human factor, based on a detailed analysis of the internal and external environment of the enterprise. It has been established that the strategy for achieving effective results, increasing the competitiveness of products and enterprises can be divided into two groups: active strategies and passive strategies. It has been determined that active strategies include quick actions of the enterprise in changing market conditions, attempts to get ahead of competitors, flexibility in all processes occurring in the enterprise, the possibility of intensive use of all types of labor resources, energy, raw materials and materials, equipment, and passive strategies for the development of the enterprise are observation behind competitors and changing processes when necessary to make them less risky and cost-effective. The type classification of enterprise development strategies is considered. It was revealed that the process of forming an enterprise development strategy occurs in the following stages: setting goals and objectives for the enterprise; analysis of the internal and external environment; formation of a company development strategy; implementation of innovative activities; long-term strategic forecasts All this must be taken into account in the perspective of further research into the specifics of implementing an enterprise development strategy from the perspective of the practical aspect, based on the conditions of the present.
