Abstract

Introduction. The question of determining the ways of post-war economic development of Ukraine is becoming more and more relevant today. And one of the most problematic is the issue of attracting sufficient financial resources. In this context, the thesis about the need to increase the investment activity of economic entities in the crisis can be defined as a priority and one that requires deep and thorough research. The purpose of the article is to substantiate the conceptual approaches to intensifying the investment activity of economic entities in the crisis. Materials and methods. The research materials are: 1) statistical materials on investment activity; 2) works of domestic and foreign authors aimed at researching the investment activity of economic entities. In the process of conducting the research, the following scientific methods were used: theoretical generalization and grouping (to characterize the areas of investment activity as a factor of the country's socio-economic development); formalization, analysis and synthesis (to determine the stages of investment activity); logical generalization of results (formulation of conclusions). The results. According to the results of the study of the activities of business entities in Ukraine in the conditions of the fullscale invasion of the Russian Federation, it can be stated that in recent months there has been an increase in the interest of businesses in developing their own economic activities. The mentioned positive trends require an immediate review of the conditions of investment activity of economic entities and the formation of effective incentives for the rapid attraction of investment capital. Undoubtedly, the most significant factor in revitalizing the investment activity of business entities is the end of the war, but a block of other important problems must be solved now — improvement of investment legislation, elimination of bureaucratic obstacles, stimulation of attracting foreign investments, improvement of investment conditions, at least in the regions of the country that are distant from zones of active hostilities. Discussion. In further scientific research, it is proposed to focus attention on the transformation of the legislation of Ukraine regarding the stimulation of investment activities of business entities in crisis conditions.
