Abstract

The article is devoted to the urgent problem of (re)integration of veterans, which is solved by creating Veteran Centers as part of the university ecosystem. The expected changes were substantiated based on the matrix of typologization of changes by J. Balogun and Hope Haley. It provides for 4 types of change: revolution, evolution, adaptation, and restructuring. In complex systems, these changes can be combined. The important thing about the Balogun and Hope Haley model is that it demonstrates the complexity of recognizing change and the need for change projects to be context-dependent. It is proved that many elements of the studied matrix should be adapted to work in new conditions. It has been determined that there will be an evolution of university ecosystems, including a startup ecosystem; the curriculum for veterans, staff of these centers (psychologists, teachers, administrative and support staff); digital learning platforms as an element of the digitalization of the educational process; the introduction of a new approach to teaching veterans based on a full-cycle approach can be considered a revolutionary change; there will also be a restructuring of the document flow, processes of administration of the educational process and the system of It is proved that in the modern ecosystem, the process of providing educational services should be reconstructed in the light of digitalization, inclusiveness, and EU standards. Currently, most Kharkiv universities' main ecosystem participants are startup schools, incubators, and parks that connect with the internal and external environment. Based on the activities of Kharkiv universities, we propose a generalized part of the university ecosystem related to startups and entrepreneurship development, i. e., the Veteran Center will logically complement the existing ecosystem. The proposed Veterans Center will work to (re)integrate into civilian life by maximizing the individual educational and professional development of veterans and their families. In addition to the educational component, it will provide social and psychological support, legal advice, etc.
