Abstract

The article examines the features of a business plan as an important component of the successful development of an enterprise in modern conditions. It has been determined that an important element of strategic planning, which can ultimately predict the enterprise's response to the requirements of the external environment and support appropriate actions in the market, is a business plan, which can be considered an effective tool of modern management, allowing one to set operational goals and missions and develop action systems to improve results. activities or prevention of adverse events. It has been established that business planning includes solving such problems as assessing the current state, identifying the strengths and weaknesses of the enterprise, and setting performance goals for the planning period. It has been established that an effective business plan should define the main benefits of the project and why users should pay for a certain service or product. When developing a business plan for a new venture, it is important to determine the scope and purpose of the new venture, as well as its main differences from existing activities. The main areas of application of the business plan are highlighted. It has been established that when implementing a business project, a business plan allows you to analyze, control and evaluate the success of activities, identify deviations from the plan and timely adjust the direction of business development. The content of different types of business plans is determined by the specifics of each enterprise. It was found that the structure of a business plan is not strictly regulated, therefore, when drawing it up, the following conditions must be observed: it must be professional, structured and logical. It has been determined that the most important goal of a business plan is to provide the necessary resources and plan the economic activities of the enterprise in accordance with market needs. It has been established that in the conditions of a market management system, a business plan is an active management tool, which is the starting point of all planning and implementation activities of the enterprise. The prospect for further research is a systematic, comprehensive analysis of the main aspects of the formation and implementation of a business plan for the investment development of an enterprise in modern conditions.
