FEATURES OF CONDUCTING INFORMATICS LESSONS IN INCLUSIVE EDUCATION

Abstract

Introduction. Under the conditions of the Russian-Ukrainian war, inclusive education is becoming increasingly relevant. This approach to learning involves creating an educational environment that is accessible toall students, regardless of their physical, cognitive, or social characteristics. In this article, the authors explore the specific features of conducting computer science lessons in the context of inclusive education in general secondary education institutions.Purpose.The purpose of this study is to analyze the methodological aspects of conducting computer science lessons considering the principles of inclusive education in general secondary education institutions.Methods.The research used general scientific methods of scientific research –analysis, synthesis, comparison, specification, and generalization of scientific literature, systematization and generalization of the received information.Results.As a result of the conducted research, the following conclusions were drawn: effective implementation of computer science lessons in the context of inclusive education requires thorough knowledge of the regulatory framework, the concepts of universal design for learning, and human-centered design in education. The use of various pedagogical methods and strategies, such as differentiation of tasks, flexible methods of presenting information, engagement and assessment, the use of adaptive technologies, collaboration, and independent work, contributes to thecreation of an accessible and inclusive educational environment in computer science classes.Originality.This study is original as it comprehensively examines the methodological aspects of conducting computer science lessons for middle school in the context of inclusive education.Conclusion.Inclusive education in computer science lessons is a crucial component of modern education. By employing the correct approach to organizing and conducting lessons, along with the use of diverse pedagogical methods and strategies, it is possible to create an accessible and inclusive educational environment that facilitates the learning and development of all students, regardless of their individual characteristics.
