Abstract

Introduction. Modern trends require enterprises to adapt to high competition and rapid technological change. Changes in the economy, politics and the social situation directly affect the conduct of business, forcing enterprises to look for new ways to improve the efficiency of their activities and to revise approaches to management and adapt to changes in the external environment, effectively using internal resources. This capability is formed as a result of the interaction of external and internal factors that are components of the enterprise's sustainable development. External sustainability is defined as a coordinated interaction with external factors affecting the enterprise, such as the political situation, the environment, the social situation in society, the economic situation, the labor market, and others. Internal is the coordinated interaction of all enterprise systems, which allows achieving high production and financial results. External factors influence the formation of the internal sustainability of the enterprise, and internal sustainability affects the development of external sustainability, which contributes to the formation of a synergistic effect of increasing the level of competitiveness and profit, openness to new markets, satisfaction of consumer needs, etc. Information plays a key role in ensuring enterprise sustainability. For example, high-quality and timely information and its analysis allow making informed business decisions, optimizing business processes, increasing the efficiency of resource use, and ensuring a competitive advantage in the market. The absence, inaccuracy and lack of information about the social, economic and environmental aspects of the enterprise can lead to wrong decisions, inefficient use of resources and, as a result, to a decrease in the competitiveness of the enterprise, which justifies further research. Objective. The aim of the study is to investigate the essence of information and analytical support for enterprise management in determining the principles and stages for ensuring its sustainable development. Materials and methods. The materials of the study are: works of domestic and foreign authors who conduct their scientific and practical research on information and analytical support of enterprise management. In the course of the study, the following scientific methods were used: theoretical generalization and grouping (to reveal the essence and content of information and analytical support); formalization, analysis and synthesis (to build diagrams of the stages of information design and the essence of information and analytical support management in business); logical generalization of results (formulation of conclusions). Results. The paper defines the role of sustainable development of an enterprise and the role of factors (external and internal) that influence it, and determines that information plays an important role in enterprise management and business decisionmaking.
