A sample of 51 respondents was selected purposely. Majority of them were affiliated with legal studies i.e. law degree. According to the findings mediation has been found to significantly and positively affect justice provision as the government justice system is time consuming and requires a lot of money. Moreover, it was revealed that rape cases have increased in the last few decades as the grass root level; informal panchayat system has visibly collapsed.
