Abstract

In 1918-1919 the political situation in the Caucasus, was very difficult. Regional policy of the British command, the Volunteer Army, the Defense Council of the Caucasus, the Entente, the occupation of the Caucasus Bolshevik’s Russia and other circumstances thoroughly confused political situation in the region. For Turkey, it was very important to find a place in the events that took place in the region, as well as the future associated with the Caucasian policy. In this situation, the British expressed concern about the links between the Mountain Republic and Germany and Turkey. The establishment of cooperation between Russia and Turkey after the defeat of the Ottoman Empire led to the collapse of the British Caucasian policy.
