Abstract

In recent years, one of the most emphasized subjects is entrepreneurship and the differences of the entrepreneurial culture between the societies. The increasing importance of entrepreneurship is closely related to having a vital role in the financial and social progress of the economies. Entrepreneurship, plays an important role in development of the countries and technology, also contributes to industrialization, industrial diversity and the level of competitiveness. The increasing entrepreneurial activities assists in stimulating stagnant economies, establishing new business areas and solving the employment issues. Entrepreneurship, also is considered as an indispensable tool for economic growth in developing countries. This phenomenon is accepted worldwide, including the developed economies. Entrepreneurship is closely related to the opportunities that the social and cultural structure can offer. In some societies, the enthusiasm and the spirit of entrepreneurship are suppressed while they are being encouraged in others. “The power of taking risks” and “being open to the new” which is a part of the generally accepted definition of entrepreneurship could be ineffectual in traditional societies. In the traditional societies, to change the rules of the social order and break with the tradition is not tolerated and is wanted to be suppressed. In order to deal with this problem and make the best of the spirit of the entrepreneurship, the foreign capital steps in. The concept of foreign entrepreneur (foreign capital) that Turkey has not benefited efficiently so far, has an important role in the transformation of the Turkish financial and industrial system to an economy that may be globally competitive. In this research, the financial and political structure which is needed to be established in Turkey in order to make the best use of the foreign entrepreneur will be examined.
