Abstract
A text is successful if it features two attributes - structural connectivity and contensive integrity which are inextricably linked and superimpose on each other. When investigating the text structure, it is observable how a general notion is intercepted by a more specific notion and it changes from the part to the whole and vice versa. Moreover, the text reproduces the part of the common “world image” that comes into the view of the researcher. In this regard the texts of “The Song of the Nibelungs” and “The Book of Dede Korkut” appear to be of inestimable value.
