THE VERBS "TO ABSORB / ABSORB": THE THEMATIC DIVERSITY OF THE OBJECTS

The article deals with the problem of linking semantic aktant OBJECT and verb semantics in modern Russian proposal. Describes the names of the different thematic classes: faces and body parts, animals and plants, object and nonobject names in the Object position when the verb "to absorb / absorb". It is shown that in the Object position of these verbs with the Agent (persons, supernatural beings, animals and plants) especially the frequency of representation of tokens with the value of food and information. The obtained results can find application in the practice of compiling dictionaries, and also of interest for the theory and practice of translation.
