Abstract
The article is devoted to the analysis of traditional musical terms forming the core of the concepts of Kazakh culture, bases of the national mentality related to the linguocultural value system of the Kazakh people, containing cultural information hidden from modern language speakers. The peculiarities of traditional musical terms are determined by history, lifestyle, realia and frame of mind of the Kazakh people.
