Abstract

The purposes of this study were (1) to compare learning achievements Entitled Sukothai history of Mathayomsuksa 1 Students Between Problem-Based Learning and Brain-Based Learning, (2) to compare Historical Methods Skills of these two developed learning plans, (3) to compare Task Orientated of Mathayomsuksa 1 Students of these two developed learning plans, The sample for this study consisted of 45 Matthayomsueksa 1 students at Donradwitaya school in Rattanaburee district, Surin Province under the Office of Secondary Education Area Zone 33 in the academic year 2014, obtained using the Cluster Random Sampling technique. The sample for this study consisted of 24 students from Mathayomsuksa 1/1 learning through Problem-Based Learning and group of 21 students from Mathayomsuksa 1/2 learning through Brain-Based Learning. The instruments used in the study were: 1) eight plans using problem-based learning and eight plans using Brain-Based Learning, 2) The achievement test 3) The Historical Methods Skills test and 4) the Task Orientated test. The statistics used for analyzing data were percentage, mean, standard deviation, and t-test (independent samples). The results of the study were as fallows: The students who learned using organization of Problem-Based Learning and Brain-Based Learning did not show a difference in learning achievement, Historical Methods Skills and Task Orientated.
