Abstract
In article the interrelation of the miner of the folklore which has developed in connection with development of ore business in the territory of Ore Altai is considered, and reflection of its plots in the national is decorative — applied art of the Altai masters. The stylistic analysis of a regional originality of the folklore decor shown in traditional woodcarving is given, to weaving from birch bark, to a carving up to a bone, weaving and other types of folk art of Altai. The special emphasis is placed on images of a snake and a griffin, as the special symbolic reflecting a natural
magic originality of this region.
