Abstract

Introduction. The article analyzes trends of models development of modern primary schools in rural areas, generalized teaching experience of making rural schools models by teachers-innovators (second half of the twentieth century.). The prospects for modernization of various types of rural primary schools with the aim of increasing their competitiveness and quality of education are outlined. Purpose. The purpose of the article is to analyze the patterns of development in all educational institutions of rural areas. To reveal the possibility of introducing B. Sukhomlynsky and A. Zakharenko models of rural general educational institutions , modern educational technologies in the educational environment in the context of scientific achievements and requirements of the time. The need to develop theoretical developments and practical action to modernize primary schools in rural areas is obvious, because attempts to improve educational system by making local changes do not bring a quality upgrade. Originality. Modernization of the educational system of schools in rural areas by creating new models of secondary education and foresees increasing their competitiveness, quality of training of students. Results. The study of theoretical bases and technology of educational system of different types of primary schools in rural areas, the rejection of banality in educational activities, the transition to the variability of the content and methods of educational process will facilitate the implementation of intellectual and creative abilities, self- fulfillment of rural students. Conclusions. Distanced and characterized different types of primary schools in rural areas, including: general educational institutions of fist degree, small primary schools, educational complex "elementary school – kindergarten" school-family, model of Hutsul school, model of educational area and tested by time schools modeled by B. Sukhomlynsky and A. Zakharenko will promote modernization of the schools, improving the quality of school education in rural areas.
