Formation of social and communicative competence in the process of student’s personality socialization

Abstract

The article deals with communicative and social competences that form together social and communicative competence, while communicative competence describes the communicative process, and interpersonal relations relate to the social sphere. The formation of social and communicative competence is presented as an important social and psychological-pedagogical problem, a guarantee of normal psychological development of a person, as well as an indispensable condition for her future successful learning and self-realization in life. Communicative competence is interpreted as a generalized communicative property of the individual, including developed communication skills, formed skills and interpersonal skills, knowledge of its basic laws and rules. The value of social development for personal development lies in the formation of elementary theoretical ideas and practical skills that ensure the viability of a person. Social competence guarantees personal awareness of behavioral attitudes with the goal of harmonious, comfortable communication and includes, above all, her desire and ability to communicate with other people, positive motivation in relations with them, self-confidence, empathy and the ability to manage social situations and use effective strategies to achieve communication goals. To implement the latter, it is necessary to have a certain communicative experience, which includes ways of interacting with people around us, as well as cooperation in group communication, teamwork, the ability to take responsibility and overcome conflicts. Socio-communicative competence is normative in nature, it includes the norms and rules of communicative behavior in society, is a personal characteristic of the future specialist, which reflects the student's focus on fulfilling future professional tasks and his attitude to the chosen profession, to himself and the type of relationship with by other people.
