Abstract
With the increasing adoption of the Information and Communication Technology (ICT), print media appears to have slowly lost its relevance around the globe. The state of Manipur and the communities does share similar experiences. This is particularly evident among tribal-dialect publications which to a large extend relies on the sale of its copies. However, the near absence of any serious academic discourse on the subject has left print media to its own fate. In this regard, this paper intends to shed light on the argument centered on print media and its relevance in the age of ICT. It will critically examine ICT impact on the youths and evaluate the problem and prospects of print media.
