Abstract
If the humanities are to retain their fundamental role in an increasingly interdisciplinary media-driven world, they must reconfigure themselves significantly. Starting from the recognition that the traditional objects of advanced study in the humanities and the arts have changed significantly during the past years. Computer technologies such as hypertext reading/writing and networked communication have introduced an interactive component into the writing and interpretation of literature, giving authors and readers a better sense of the configurational, multileveled nature of literature. However, before we can derive the intended benefits from these new technologies, mainly in a locked-down world due to the world health crisis of Corona Virus, we need to interrogate their limitations which is the subject matter of the present paper as well as some samples and reflections on Hypertextual literature.
