Abstract
The article provides an overview of the main conceptual approaches to the essence ofeconomic security understanding. Following the analysis of official and academic approaches, a classification matrix of economic security research objects has been suggested and the main directions for solving the problem of forming an invariant definition of economic security for any objects have been determined.
