Every national language is a universal system, serving as a tool for acquiring new knowledge. In the field of linguists continue to be features and patterns of word formation in various spheres of human activity. Knowledge of the language profession improves the efficiency of labor helps to better contact with the representatives of his profession. One of the relevant questions in the science of terminology is selection of a term from the allied categories of specific vocabulary, which is consolidated in one layer of vocabulary on the basis of the fact that it differs from the common lexis in speciality of meanings, usage, restricted number of users. Professional broadcasting productively creates emotive professional neologisms. In the non-literary vocabulary of the Ukrainian language there is a group of words that are called jargonisms. Jargon is a recognized term for a group of words that exists in almost every language and whose aim is to preserve secrecy within one or another social group. Living it is the source of creation jargon as dynamic lexical subsystem that is constantly updated, adding new lexical units. People made a profession special subcodes that unites and separates from others is the hallmark. The article is dedicated to the properties of the use of jargon among photographers. The effect of this phenomenon on the formation of the linguistic norm has been revealed.
